Wild Valley Bass Classic Fishing Tournament Rules & Registration

Time: 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM
Location: Aylesford Lake, Nova Scotia (Loon Lake included)

1. Registration & Entry

All anglers must register before 6:45 AM on tournament day.
- Register online by completing the form below and sending an e-transfer to register@wildvalley.ca.
- Register at Wild Valley Supply Co. - 38 Hwy 358, Greenwich, Nova Scotia
- Register on tournament day between 6:15-6:45, CASH ONLY.

SAVE $10 Early bird registration ends June 1st! ($70)

Tournament will begin with a trickle start at 7:00 AM sharp.
- Trickle start order will be determined by registration order. 1st registered and paid in full goes 1st and so on.Â

Entry fee is $80 per boat (after June 1) and must be paid in full prior to launch.
- Lunker categories - +$5 for bass and +$5 for pickerel.
2. Legal Fishing Times

Fishing is only allowed between 7:00 AM and 3:00 PM.

All boats must be back at the launch site no later than 3:00 PM. Late return will result in disqualification.
3. Eligibility & Team Rules
-
Anglers may fish solo or in teams of two per boat.

All anglers must hold a valid Nova Scotia sportfishing license.
4. Equipment & Methods
-
Only artificial lures are allowed (no live or prepared bait).

Only casting, spinning, or fly rods may be used.
-
Trolling is allowed.
5. Catch Limits & Weigh-In
-
Maximum 3 bass per team may be presented for weigh-in.

Only smallmouth bass are eligible.
-
All fish must be alive at weigh-in to qualify for prizes.
- Lunker biggest pickerel does not have to be alive at weigh-ins.Â
6. Weigh-In Process
-
Weigh-in begins at 3:00 PM sharp.

Teams must check in and have their fish ready by 3:15 PM.

The winning team will be determined by the highest weight of 3 combined bass.

In case of a tie, the team with the largest single fish will win.
7. Prizes & Awards

Prizes will be awarded for:

Heaviest total bag 1st, 2nd and 3rd (max 3 fish - bass only)

Biggest bass (by weight)
- Biggest pickerel (by weight)

- 1st Place - $500 cash (minimum, depending on entries), Wild Valley Custom Jerseys and Trucker Hats
- 2nd Place - St. Croix, MojoBass 7'1" Spinning Rod - Value $219.99, Wild Valley Custom Jerseys
- 3rd Place - To be announced, Wild Valley Custom Trucker Hats
- Lunker Pool Biggest Bass - All $5 registrations for biggest bass pool
- Lunker Pool Biggest Pickerel - All $5 registrations for biggest pickerel pool
8. Sportsmanship & Conduct

All provincial fishing and boating laws must be followed.

Unsportsmanlike conduct, littering, or harassment of other participants will result in disqualification.
9. Safety
-
All participants must wear a Transport Canada, the Canadian Coast Guard, or the US Coast Guard-approved PFD when the boat is under power.

Boats must have all legally required safety equipment.
10. Disputes
-
Any disputes or rule violations must be reported to the tournament director before final results are announced.

The decision of the tournament officials is final.
